Nobody cares about your damn health reform America.
Posted by iHeartCookies Aug. 13, 2009 @ 3:52 AM EDTHeck I don't care about American politics or even live in American, but every news agency around the world is reporting on american town hall meetings on health care reform.
My opinion: Who gives the fuck? No wait seriously I don't understand what is the point even reporting about it (especially if you don't live in America). It is sorta like a comical segment for the global media so they can post short clips of some women saying "I am afraid of obama because he is a nazi" or a elderly male saying " Obama is going to eat my white granddaughter by denying her healthcare". Sure it seems funny but at the same time its just sad.
Also why is a Canadian/UK news channels even bothering reporting on it? I seriously don't care if 50% of Americans can't afford medical insurance in the first place. Actually one man at a town hall meeting found a solution: "I can't afford medical insurance but i rather die than accept this unfair reform." Hell ya. If they got a problem with it, then just have 50% of them go sit in a gutter, die and tell the media to stop reporting about it.
This constant media coverage is just making people in America look like total dumbasses (probably on purpose. Well actually I don't know. Its not the first time America has done something stupid).

Wondering why there isn't many developers jumping into the wii platform?
Cowen & Company's Doug Creutz says the Wii may represent "fool's gold for someone looking to invest in video game development" and the safer approach would be the cross-platform capability of the Xbox360 and PS3. "Being able to have your game on multiple platforms and to the PC would give the developer a great advantage. It is far too difficult with the Wii"
Another point that has analysts worried is that just earlier this year, Reggie Fils-Aime, chief marketing officer for Nintendo of America, told the New York Times that Wii games won't be profitable unless they sell over 1 million copies. That is 16 out of 486 games for Nintendo Wii and most of the 16 games are produced by Nintendo themselves.
One of the important points that was mentioned was that "Only Nintendo produced software sells on the wii platform"
Creutz points out that "You're rolling the dice on succeeding in a market which has proved very resistant to generating meaningful hits away from Nintendo titles and the music genre".
Nintendo does insist that a few third party publishers have had over a million copies and currently the only third party games that make up 1/6 of the wii market is Rockband and Guitar Hero.

Woohoo G1 mainstream is now free. According to moderators who work on the site, "all of the "Generations' will be free over time. It is estimated that the release of every 2-3 generations for premium users = 1 free generation for the public."

Rawr i finished all my midterms for this semester so i have another picture to distribute. Also grats to America for electing a new president.
PS: This is a classic internet pic, so you might have seen it before
